Hi! I'm Mel. I'm a women's health nutritionist (Adv. Dip. Nutritional Medicine), a personal trainer (Cert III & IV Fitness) and a Pilates Instructor (Mat and Reformer Certified). I'm also a mum of two and business owner- so there's a lot of hats on my head!
A few years back, (during one of the many lockdowns we experienced here in Melbourne, Australia), I started to notice some changes to my cycle consistent with early perimenopause. I took the knowledge I’d gained through my studies, and undertook additional research as well as training with industry experts, to find out everything there is to know about creating the best possible experience during perimenopause and beyond.
Fast forward to now,  I've helped hundreds of women understand their bodies during perimenopause and menopause through my 1:1 sessions, and know exactly how to use food as medicine, nutrition and movement to nurture and relieve symptoms.

The Change School
My online program has everything you need to know to change the quality of your peri/menopause life, and I give you the tools you need to be able to execute your new knowledge easily and fuss free. I'm not about hours in the kitchen OR the gym for that matter. Simple (but tasty) food and quick but effective exercise does the trick. You won't find anything fancy of trifficult (trick-difficult) here.
MODULE 1
Learn and Lean In...
Learn what the heck is going on in your body! This gives you the building blocks to understand what areas of your health are the priority and focus during perimenopause and beyond. We'll also take the time to set some goals and plan out how you're going to achieve them, with me as your coach and cheerleader! This module includes:
- What's changing in your body
- How this impacts your weight, insulin and cholesterol
- What's happening in your gut and your brain and how we can ease them through this transition period.
- Honing in on your goals and setting up a plan to execute them.
After this module, you’ll be ready to learn about nutrition and exercise changes and start taking steps to achieve your goals.
MODULE 2
Eat...
This module shows you exactly how the foods you eat and how you bring your meals together pay a vital role in maintaining healthy markers like cholesterol, insulin response and metabolic health and a healthy wait to height ratio (NOT BMI!) You'll be feeling full of energy and ready to go each morning. This module includes:
- How to balance the main nutrients in your food for better blood sugar levels, energy and get to a healthy weight for you.
- Understand the key nutrients involved in tackling peri/menopause symptoms and how to use food as medicine as well as thoughtful supplementation.
- Understand the risks factors of peri/menopause like osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease and how our diet can decrease this risk for us.
After this module, you’ll be ready to start tweaking your meals, and you'll have ready to go meal plans to help you do it!
MODULE 3
Move...
This module teaches you about the type of movement that is important during perimenopause and beyond to support healthy metabolism, decrease osteoperosis and cardiovascular health risks, without discounting the types of movement that you love to do. This module includes:
- How to move to support your changing hormones
- How to move to shift your metabolism to fat burning rather than carb burning to help get to a healthy weight
- How to incorporate movement simply and enjoyablyÂ
After this Module, you’ll be ready to startmoving your body in joyful ways that are simple and effective. Beginners to exercise will have the confidence they need to start this wonderful journey.
MODULE 3
Chill...
During this module we'll dive more into what's changing in your brain in response to the changes to your hormones. In this module you'll learn:
- Food and nutrition to support your changing brain
- How focusing on your wellbeing and managing your stress in healthy ways is part of the successful transition to menopause and beyond.
Congratulations, you’ve now got all the knowledge you need to have a joyful perimenopause. Now to put it all into action!
OVERVIEW
Meal Plans + Exercise plans + Live Q&A's + Community forum + 12 months access...

I don't want you to have to obssess about your nutrition and exercise (leave that to me!) so I have creates a weekly meal plan and exercise plan for each of the program weeks.
